The Medical Student Ethics Competition Program will start at 7:15 PM.

The Guest Speaker will be introduced at 7:30 PM.

We are privileged to have Dr. Donald Thomas, MD present:

1001 Years of Lupus Treatments

We look forward to hearing Dr. Thomas explain the different ways that Lupus was thought about and treated over the ages. Dr. Thomas is a graduate of Baylor Medical School and did his Rheumatology Fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He is currently a Clinical Associate Professor at USUHS, having maintained his connection to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Dr. Thomas is active in many Lupus organizations, having served as Chair of the Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee of the Lupus Foundation and Chair of the Board of the Sjogren’s Foundation. He is the Author of The Lupus Encyclopedia, which is currently in print for its second edition. Dr. Thomas is active on the rheumatology speaking circuit, and we look forward to being educated by him.
